For over 3 decades, the Mara! Band has been performing in schools for Musica Viva Australia's comprehensive education program.

 

Their participation in the program has taken them to all states of Australia and overseas (Singapore, Hong Kong) where they have delivered thousands of concerts and workshops for school students of all ages.

 

In 2025, they will be touring parts of WA (Kimberley, Perth & Geraldton and the Coral Coast), Queensland (Brisbane, Logan & Gold Coast), Riverina and Hunter regions of NSW, as well as selected concerts in Metro South West NSW.

 

Their highly interactive show 'Music In My Suitcase' features Tim Clarkson & Stuart Vandegraaff on woodwinds, Llew Kiek on plucked strings and Mara Kiek on voice and percussion.

 

It showcases music from around the world, but all the songs have been collected right here in Australia, demonstrating the rich cultural landscape that is Australia today.
