World Music Ensemble at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music
Llew is running a new short course for the Open Academy at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In term 1, 2017, the course ran with a group of 9 players.

While not running in term 2 this year, due to Llew's Musica Viva in Schools commitments in Queensland with the Mara! band, Llew will be offering World Music Ensemble again in term 3 2017.

World Music Ensemble is intended for players who want to improve their improvisation, rhythmic, aural, sight-reading, technical, and listening skills through a diverse world music program. In addition, ensemble members gain an insight into rehearsal and performance practices, how to organize arrangements and the dynamics of working within a group.

World Music Ensemble classes provide great scope for the development of personal skills, along with exposure to a variety of repertoire sources and the enjoyment of being part of a group on an exciting musical and collaborative journey.

A 15-minute audition is required for this course.

Llew also takes private guitar students at the Conservatorium in the Play at the Con program.
